CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Present - Administrative Coordinator On Site, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center In this role, at the direction of the Vice President/Patient and Family Resource, I collaborate with members of Nursing, Executive Medical Directors Office, and Hospital Administration to facilitate and ensure the delivery of safe and cost effective, quality patient care. I represent Hospital and Nursing Administration in crisis intervention activities for situations that require immediate action. This role also includes working with the ACCESS Center facilitating the access to and flow of patients through the medical center by improving processes and systems across the organization. The position requires sound knowledge of nursing practice and professional standards of care
- 2005 - Clinical Resource Coordinator, Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital In collaboration with an identified, accountable physician and multidisciplinary team, I coordinated and facilitated the clinical management (case management & care management) for an assigned inpatient population from pre-admission to discharge. I contribute to the development, monitoring, and reinforcement of care standards and protocols designed to enhance quality and promote cost-effective utilization of healthcare resources.
- 2003 - Staff Nurse, Coronary Care Unit, Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital Direct patient care provider with Charge Nurse responsibilities for the Coronary Care Unite and Adult Critical Care Unit. I also functioned as a preceptor for new staff and senior college nursing students.
- 2002 - Cardiovascular Nurse Clinician, Concord Hospital As a member of Critical Care management team, my responsibilities included staff scheduling, interviewing, counseling and reviewing/changing patient care systems.
